Raf Simons is a Belgian menswear designer from Antwerp. He produced his first collection in 1999. In 2005, he was appointed the creative director of the Jill Sander brand. This was the same year that he launched his collection Raf by Raf Simons. He says he is very inspired by youth culture and coming-of-age.
