With Oscars season approaching, we all know the famous silent film The Artist, and one of the things that makes it stand out is that it's not only silent, but in black and white.
Mark Bridges, Oscar-nominated costume designer, was the mastermind behind the costumes featured in The Artist. Because of the chance that the film might be seen in color at some point, Bridges had to be sure that the costumes were coordinated for the black-and-white screen and for color. Here are pictures of what they would have looked like in color!
